As a Class-A Driver at Chico Septic, you will be responsible for driving a 10-speed septic pump truck, maintaining equipment, and performing routine septic tank services. Your role is crucial in ensuring our services run smoothly and our clients are satisfied. This position is local, with no long-haul driving, offering a work-life balance that's hard to beat!

Key Responsibilities

• Drive a 10-speed septic truck to transport sewage and pump septic tanks.
• Locate and dig up septic tanks as needed.
• Safely transport waste from our facility to county disposal sites.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of trucks.
• Follow safety and maintenance protocols for vehicles.
• Occasionally perform septic tank pumping and inspections.
• Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of Class A driving experience.
• Valid Class A CDL with brake and tank endorsements.
• Clean DMV record.
• Positive and professional attitude.
• Physical ability to lift and maneuver up to 100 lbs.
• Current medical examination certificate.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to following safety protocols.
• Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and maintaining equipment.

Salary and Benefits:

• Full-Time position
• Hourly rate of $22.00 - $28.00, based on experience.
